“My dog, Max, and I came to live here in 2009 with anxiety. I was anticipating surgery and had lived in my house for 48 years, raising 9 children, but I knew it was time for a change. Wow, was I surprised. The residents accepted me with open arms and the staff treated me like a queen. Do I miss my family? Sure. But I have a new one to mother and love as well. There is always activities going on to keep me occupied, and religious services of all faiths, birthday celebrations and family get-togethers. I’ll never forget the attention you get from the staff when I don’t feel well and need love and attention. ”

“It’s hard to believe mom’s one year anniversary is here. Looking back, mom has transitioned well. We thank the caring staff. From making sure she has well balanced meals, to looking in on her at night if she’s not feeling well. Now with nurse assistance, she takes daily medicine. I know that sounds minor. But for mom, that means cutting out dozens of trips to the hospital, like before she moved in. She loves the community activities. This has helped her children have peace of mind!
